    We are excited to have Almosta Ranch back at our festival this year; we will have not one but two petting zoo areas for children to explore rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigs, goats, donkeys and more!

  • Soft Play Sisters

    Soft Play is designed specifically for toddlers. It is a safe environment for little ones to explore, learn, and play. Check out soft play zones, toddler bounce houses, ball pits with slides and stairs. All soft play zones are sanitized, soft, and completely safe.

Discover the joy of reading at This is Home Fest! Join our pop-up library tent provided by Calcasieu Parish Public Library. Your kids can sign up for a library card, borrow exciting books, and spin the wheel for awesome prizes. Spark the love for learning in your kids – it's a literary adventure under the festival sun.

Kulture city Mobile Sensory Station

For some individuals, going to events can be overwhelming due to sensory overload. This is Home Fest strives to create an accepting and inclusive environment for everyone. Kulture City’s Mobile Sensory Station is a sensory room on the go, designed to bring a mobile sensory experience to any environment and help attendees that might be feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated.

Families for Inclusion, a nonprofit in Southwest Louisiana, is on a mission to enhance inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with special needs. Their vision extends beyond conventional boundaries, aiming to create a society where everyone, regardless of abilities, can actively engage in all aspects of life.

With unwavering commitment, the organization advocates for the rights of individuals with special needs, utilizing advocacy, education, and community engagement as key tools. Ongoing projects, such as the inclusive playgrounds at the Children's Museum and Lock Park, exemplify their dedication to creating positive change. The upcoming Luke’s Legacy Grant in spring 2024 further underscores their commitment to supporting individuals with special needs.
